TRAINING AS FORKLIFT TRUCK DRIVER

According to DGUV regulation 68, every driver of a forklift truck must be trained by an authorized person. The acquisition of this "driver's license for industrial trucks" is possible here at the company Dimos Maschinenbau GmbH, by passing a theoretical and practical examination. Only persons over 18 years of age who are suitable and trained for this activity and have proven their qualification may be entrusted with the independent driving of industrial trucks with driver's seat or driver's platform (usually forklifts). We offer our forklift driver training for beginners and advanced drivers.

LEVEL 1: GENERAL TRAINING IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE DGUV
PRINCIPLE 308-001

The general training (level 1) includes a theoretical part and a practical part, each with a final examination. In the theoretical part, the participant learns about safety regulations (e.g. accident prevention regulations, operating instructions) and the technology of the industrial trucks (e.g. stability, drive types).

• The theoretical examination takes place in writing in the form of a questionnaire with multiple-choice answer options.

The syllabus of the practical training, according to DGUV principle 308-001, provides for a total of 7 main topics, e.g. (instruction on the industrial truck, daily operational test, load center diagram, instructions on the industrial truck, leaving the industrial truck and driving and forklift exercises), which are to be carried out by each participant of the training under guidance with a front loader.

• The practical test (driving test) should be composed of all parts of the practical training.

Requirement:

• Driving experience as a forklift driver
• Physical and mental fitness
• 18 years of age

The training is aimed at forklift drivers who already have basic knowledge and practical experience in handling industrial trucks, but do not yet have a certificate of competence.

• 2 days / intensive training (advanced / driving experience as a forklift operator) of the "general training (level 1)".

For newcomers to the field of industrial trucks, we offer individual beginner courses for "general training (level 1)" on request.

After successful participation in the technical seminar, the participant receives a driving license for industrial trucks.

ANNUAL INSTRUCTION FOR CRANE OPERATORS 

Employees in companies must always be adequately and appropriately instructed in order to effectively prevent occupational accidents and increase safety in the workplace. The legal basis for this can be found, for example, in § 12 of the Occupational Health and Safety Act, in § 12 of the Ordinance on Industrial Safety and Health, and in § 4 of DGUV Regulation 1.
The training we offer conveys the contents in a half-day seminar.

After successful participation in the seminar, each participant will receive a certificate of attendance.

TRAINING AS A FIRE PROTECTION HELPER 

Our training rooms are located directly at our plant in Fulda/Petersberg. In addition to theoretical and practical knowledge, the seminar participants also get an insight behind the scenes of the company DIMOS Maschinenbau GmbH. Employers have to appoint employees who take over fire fighting tasks in case of a fire without endangering themselves. These fire protection assistants are to prevent further damage by fighting incipient fires before the fire department arrives.
In an interesting and exciting way, the seminar participants learn and repeat the legal basics and important knowledge about prevention in fire protection. In the practical part, the handling of fire extinguishers (fire extinguishing training) as well as the fighting of incipient fires are trained.
The training and further education of fire protection assistants is carried out in accordance with the legal requirements of DGUV Information 205-023, the German Social Accident Insurance. After successful participation in the seminar, the participants are able to carry out the various activities of a fire protection assistant. The training offered by us conveys the contents in a half-day seminar.

BASIC TRAINING FOR FIRE PROTECTION HELPER

BASIC TRAINING CONTENT:

• Basics of fire protection
• Company fire protection organization and fire protection regulations
• Function and mode of operation of fire extinguishing equipment
• Legal regulations and liability issues
• Dangers due to fires, behavior in case of fire and danger
• Evacuation and behavior at the assembly point
• Emergency call and communication with rescue services

PRACTICE:

• Handling and function of fire extinguishing equipment using a practical example
• Fire extinguishing exercises / extinguishing tactics on various fire objects

Hints: Sturdy shoes and appropriate clothing for practice exercises.

After successful participation in the seminar, each participant will receive a certificate of participation.

FURTHER TRAINING OF FIRE PROTECTION HELPERS

THE PREREQUISITE FOR THE FURTHER TRAINING IS AN EXISTING BASIC TRAINING AS A
FIRE PROTECTION HELPER.

• current news and information in fire protection

DURATION

• The duration of the training about 3 - 4 hours.
