Maneuvering bulky loads safely through narrow warehouses

Space-saving and quickly maneuverable forklifts are required for handling bulky, heavy goods in confined warehouses. The Charger heavy-duty compact forklift truck from DIMOS combines a compact design with maximum flexibility: thanks to its compact steering and extremely small vehicle dimensions, the Charger is maneuverable and efficient even when handling heavy loads.

The Charger electric heavy-duty compact forklift from DIMOS moves heavy and bulky loads effortlessly and safely. Thanks to its compact design and individual wheel steering, which enables it to drive in a circle, the Charger can perform even the tightest turning maneuvers with ease. The use of the compact truck is particularly worthwhile for companies that have grown over time and whose warehouse capacities have not grown with them. The vehicles in the Charger family have a standard load capacity of up to 35 tons and a load centre of 1,200 mm. They are available with one to three-stage masts. If required, other tonnages are also possible, which can exceed the weight and load center. In this case, DIMOS designs and builds the vehicles individually according to customer requirements.

Energy-efficient use indoors and outdoors

With a choice between fully electric and electrohydrostatic drive concepts, the Charger can be optimally adapted to the respective application. With its wide range of configuration options, the heavy-duty compact forklift truck is suitable for both indoor and outdoor use, for example in logistics centers or at car manufacturers. The forklift truck is used particularly frequently in production logistics. Here, it provides the material at the systems for further processing and transports goods internally from one processing step to the next or to dispatch. The Charger is also ideal for extreme applications such as in pressing plants, coil production or for transporting converters. For example, the truck can load and unload trucks or load machines in the tightest of spaces. During operation, the maneuverable stacker enables more flexible and productive transport processes and also saves costs.

Flexibility made to measure

Whether fork, mandrel, clamp or crane: DIMOS adapts the load support to the customer's requirements. "Thanks to our in-house production, we are flexible and can respond optimally to individual requirements. Usable width, frame length and tires are just some of the specifications that we can adapt to the specific application," explains Pascal Schütz, Managing Director Technology and Sales at DIMOS.
