NEW COMPACT STACKER FROM DIMOS
FLEXIBLE TRANSPORT OF HEAVY LOADS
It combines compact design with extremely high flexibility: the new DIMOS Charger. The heavy-duty compact forklift from the manufacturer DIMOS has an energy-efficient electric drive and enables precise handling in the tightest of spaces. Thanks to its modular design, the truck can be adapted precisely to the customer's requirements and infrastructure. With a load capacity of 8 to 40 tons depending on the series, all areas of application in logistics and production are covered.
A well thought-out design for safe load transport - especially when handling heavy loads, a longer truck length is often required. However, this comes at the expense of maneuverability and flexibility, especially in warehouses with limited space. The DIMOS Charger is up to 25% narrower and 20% shorter with the same load capacity compared to classic front stackers - a clear advantage in terms of maneuverability and space savings. The patented compact steering system with a new, purely electric drive system also contributes to the extreme maneuverability. Compared to the standard electro-hydraulic steering system, an optionally available patented single-wheel steering system reduces the vehicle's turning radius by half.
Customized and cost effective
While conventional electric forklifts are usually only suitable for indoor use, the DIMOS Charger is suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. The latter means that the compact forklift can be used in different countries in widely diverging climatic conditions. What can be a big strain in addition to handling heavy goods, DIMOS absorbs via well-engineered components and a solid , well-tuned design. The purely electric drive of the truck, for example, results in low battery and thus energy consumption as well as less maintenance. This results in excellent values in terms of machine availability and service life with low service requirements.
The advantage of the electric drive over the classic hydrostatic drive increases the energy yield by almost 30%. As heat dissipation is very low, no external cooling is required.
Overall, these features lead to reduced service costs. However, if maintenance or battery replacement is required, the modular design is an advantage. Thanks, for example, to the fold-down driver's cab and mechanical devices such as drive-in lugs, work on the machine can be carried out easily. "At DIMOS, we have decades of experience in the development and construction of customized compact forklifts," says Pascal Schütz, responsible for sales and development. "In coordination with the subsequent user, we design, for example, additional mast solutions and ergonomic aspects for an optimal result." Combined with large window areas, they offer an optimal all-round view - and thus round off the both robust and flexibly maneuverable DIMOS Charger as a compact solution.
