From 9 - 12 November 2021 DIMOS will take part in the international airport trade fair "Inter Airport Europe". You will find us in hall B5 with stand number 1376 at the exhibition centre in Munich. As a system supplier for air cargo material handling processes, DIMOS will be presenting itself at the trade fair together with its partner HUBTEX. The new INTRAC, a universal handling platform for ULDs, and the versatile X-WAY-MOVER will be the highlights.
DIMOS has been working together with HUBTEX since 2017. The focus of DIMOS in the partnership is on the technical development and conceptual design of vehicles in air cargo logistics. While HUBTEX focuses on the international distribution and service of the vehicles. With HUBTEX, unlike conventional air cargo technology, DIMOS offers modifications to the vehicle and adapts them to the conditions on-site at the customers location. Jointly, HUBTEX and DIMOS focus on flexibility, as this allows high tonnages to be handled despite a small storage area; from unloading the lorries to storing the goods and loading them onto the aircraft. In the air cargo sector, the various tasks are usually performed by a few different vehicles.

X-Way-Mover
1 SYSTEM FOR ALL HANDLING TASKS IN THE AIR CARGO SECTOR
The X-WAY-Mover can handle the complete ULD handling process from landside to airside. The 360° endless steering results in increased maneuverability of the vehicles. The X-WAY-MOVER is individually configurable and can be adapted to changing operating conditions. It can remove goods from the truck and store them up to a height of 7.2 meters. It is possible to use it 24/7 in a wide variety of tasks. By replacing individual vehicles and stationary equipment such as the stacker crane in the terminal, storage capacities can be significantly increased.
THE NEW PALLET MOVER INTRAC
FOR THE AUTONOMOUS HANDLING OF ULDS
With its 360° steering system, the new INTRAC is also significantly more maneuverable than conventional solutions on the market. Users gain up to 50% additional storage space with the pallet mover, therefore it is often used in warehouses with limited capacity. The INTRAC is designed for autonomous handling of ULDs. It autonomously transports them in the terminal, arranges storage and staging areas in advance, and stores the load carriers in a flexible area when needed. The INTRAC thus marks the next generation of autonomous air cargo transport vehicles, as to date there is no other pallet mover that offers a comparable level of automation in end-to-end cargo handling. However, in the basic concept of the pallet mover, the AGV unit can also easily be temporarily replaced by a manual driver unit.
Our system solution for air cargo handling
A multi-stage system consisting of X-WAY-MOVER and INTRAC provides a system solution if the user wishes to transport large ULDs or comparable load carriers. A ULD system or a rail conveyor system are not necessary. The transport vehicle can be connected to the respective WMS and can create a block or area storage fully autonomously thanks to intelligent goods composition.
